Automation rules cookbook

Rules run on every incoming email, top to bottom. Each rule is conditions → actions.

Examples

• Label billing mail: sender ends with @stripe.com → add label "Billing", mark read.
• Draft replies for support: recipient contains support@ → auto-draft reply.
• Route by topic (AI): AI question "Is this about a refund?" is yes → assign by expertise.
• Triage newsletters: subject contains "newsletter" → move to Archive, mark read.

AI conditions and auto-draft need an AI provider (see AI setup). Turn on "Stop processing further rules" to make a rule the final word.
